FAQ
Questions people ask before they connect an account
The product
What it is, and who it is for
Who is SocialTool for?
Esports teams, clubs, tournament organisers, and creators who publish to several networks on a fixed schedule and are tired of doing it six times by hand. It is built and operated by EsportAdria, and available to other teams.
Which networks does it publish to?
X, Facebook Pages, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Discord. Networks covers what each one accepts and what it sends back.
Does it post to TikTok on its own?
Either way, and it is a setting rather than a surprise. A scheduled video can be posted to the connected profile at its minute with the privacy level chosen in the composer, or delivered to that account's TikTok inbox as a draft for whoever runs the account to finish in the app.
Can I schedule to an account I do not control?
No. An account has to be connected through its own platform's sign-in by somebody who can already sign in to it. There is no other way to add one, and nothing is ever published to an account that was not connected deliberately.
What time zone does it use?
Europe/Zagreb, on every screen and in every network. One clock rather than one per platform, which is the only version that survives a match day.
Do I need a particular kind of account?
Instagram needs a professional (Business or Creator) account, because that is the only kind Meta lets any tool publish to. Facebook needs a Page you manage. X, YouTube, TikTok, and Discord work with an ordinary account.
Your accounts and your data
What is stored, where, and for how long
Short answers here. The full and authoritative version is the Privacy Policy.
What does SocialTool store about my accounts?
The access granted at connect time, held encrypted; the posts you schedule and their media; the outcome of each publish; and the engagement figures and comments read back from the networks. It is set out field by field in the Privacy Policy.
Where does it run?
On servers we operate in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany and Finland). Data is shared only with the social networks you connect, in order to publish to them.
Do you sell my data, or train models on it?
No. We do not sell it, we do not serve advertising, we do not transfer it to data brokers or information resellers, and we do not use it to develop or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
What happens when I disconnect an account?
The stored access is deleted immediately, and the content read from that account, its metrics, comments, and mentions, is deleted with the connection. The same happens when a platform tells us a connection has been revoked from its side.
Can I have everything deleted?
Yes. Ask through support and it goes. Panel accounts are deleted when a person leaves the team.
Does the site track me?
There are no tracking or advertising cookies. Signing in to the panel sets a session cookie, which is what keeps you signed in.
Getting started
Access, roles, and support
How do I get access?
SocialTool is in early access and we onboard teams one at a time, because connecting six networks properly is worth doing with someone on the call. Tell us which channels you run and we will set your team up.
What does it cost?
Pricing is agreed per team during onboarding, because the work is not the same for a club with two channels and an organiser with twenty. One cost is worth knowing up front: X charges for API reads, so an admin sets a monthly spending budget for it and the panel stops before the budget does.
Who on my team can do what?
Editors plan, compose, and publish. Admins do that and also connect and disconnect accounts and hold the settings. Nobody on a media team needs to touch a platform developer console.
Something went wrong. Who do I ask?
Support has what to send us and where to send it. If a post failed, the panel already knows why, and the post's own page is the fastest place to look first.
